Glass Beach - Playa Cofi

Hidden along the north shore of Vieques is a beach that doesn't get discovered by many tourists, and that's a shame because it has some of the prettiest views on the island. If you can find Glass Beach, you will be treated to views of Isabel Segunda, Puntas Mulas Lighthouse, and Fort Conde de Mirasol to the east.  To the west you will see the gorgeous north shore of Vieques, along with a nice view of the main island of Puerto Rico.  And, if you take the time to look down you should be able to score some cool sea glass, in browns, blues, greens and whites.  Local artisans use this glass to make awesome jewelry.  The rugged coastlline here is a nice contrast to the blue Atlantic and white-caps that crash onto the rust-colored rock outcroppings.
